Elmore Court
A country venue, like no other
Elmore Court is our historic house and gardens, a place of celebration. Built around 1580, the house was designated an official party pad in the late 1700s. Today, it’s a world-class wedding and events venue, enhanced through the addition of our ‘future-rustic’ party space – The Gillyflower.
Whether you’re looking for a magical setting for your wedding day; historic accommodation for a team or family getaway; or a totally unique space for an event or celebration, Elmore Court can accommodate your needs.
Shaped by joyful connections, Elmore Court invites you to celebrate with grace and abandon. You’re free to come as you are and express your true self – whatever the volume. It’s sustainable, too. The Gillyflower’s ‘rammed earth’ walls are made with Elmore soil and timber. Our food and drink are locally sourced. And our manicured lawns give way to the wilderness and woodlands beyond – a reminder of the interplay between people and nature that defines the wild elegance of Elmore Court.

Your occasion, our mission
The house itself is an eclectic mix of architectural styles, from Elizabethan to Victorian. The downstairs is mainly comprised of four large reception rooms: The Hall, Dining Room, Drawing Room and Morning Room. Upstairs are 16 beautiful bedrooms – perfect for wedding guests, large corporate parties, families or friends.
During your stay, the house and grounds are yours to explore as you wish. And we’ll help plan your visit, down to the last detail. From seasonal feasting, fine wines, music and merriment, we shape the experience you desire, making your occasion our mission.
Above all, our staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome – at home in our home. Attending to the little details, embracing the bigger picture, we do everything we can to ensure an unforgettable wedding, party or event for you and your guests.
“Don’t. Get. Married. Anywhere. Else!”
